This page explains, in plain English, how OnlineSemaglutide.org works and which company is responsible for which part of your experience. We’ve published this so it’s clear who is in charge of what.
OnlineSemaglutide.org is a marketing-and-information website
The website you are reading now — the homepage, the educational pages about compounded semaglutide and tirzepatide, the FAQ, the blog, and this About-style content — is operated by Pacific Shores Research Group, LLC. Our role is to provide information so that you can decide whether telehealth-based treatment for compounded GLP-1 medications might be something you want to pursue.
We are not a pharmacy. We do not prescribe medication. We do not employ clinicians. We do not fill prescriptions. We do not bill you or process your payment.
Once you start a consultation, you’re working with Care Validate
When you click a button like “Get Started,” “Start Your Visit,” or “Begin Intake,” you are taken into a separate experience operated by our partner, Care Validate Inc., on this same website. The intake form, your telehealth consultation, the prescription decision, and your billing are all handled by Care Validate and its affiliated entities, not by Pacific Shores Research Group.
Care Validate is responsible for:
- The intake form — the medical and identity questions you answer.
- The telehealth consultation — the licensed clinicians who evaluate your case and (when appropriate) write your prescription. The medical-practice entity employing or contracting with these clinicians is disclosed to you during the intake flow and is licensed in the state where you are physically located at the time of your encounter.
- Prescription fulfillment — Care Validate routes appropriate prescriptions to its network of independently licensed 503A compounding pharmacies (currently Belmar Pharmacy, Strive Pharmacy, Epiq Scripts, and Casa Pharma Rx).
- Billing — Care Validate charges your payment method, manages your subscription if you have one, and processes refunds and cancellations under its own subscription and refund terms.
- Your protected health information (PHI) — under HIPAA, Care Validate is the responsible covered entity for the medical information you submit during intake and treatment.
Compounded medications are not FDA-approved
The medications Care Validate’s pharmacy partners prepare — compounded semaglutide and compounded tirzepatide — are compounded prescription medications. They are not FDA-approved. They are not the same products as the FDA-approved brand-name semaglutide or tirzepatide medications, and they have not been independently studied for efficacy or safety in their compounded forms. If your clinician determines that a compounded preparation is appropriate for you, the medication is custom-prepared on a patient-specific basis by a state-licensed 503A pharmacy.
Which legal terms apply to which part of your experience
- While you’re reading marketing or educational pages on this site: our Privacy Policy and Terms & Conditions apply. Pacific Shores Research Group is responsible for the tracking and cookies described in our Privacy Policy.
- Once you begin intake, telehealth, or billing with Care Validate: Care Validate’s separately-maintained patient-facing terms, telehealth informed consent, subscription terms, refund policy, and HIPAA Notice of Privacy Practices apply to that portion of the experience. Where available, those documents are presented to you within the intake flow and can be reviewed before you submit your information.
- HIPAA Business Associate Agreement. Pacific Shores Research Group and Care Validate have entered into a Business Associate Agreement where required to define our respective responsibilities under HIPAA for any information that crosses between the two systems.
